Ambassador Tizita Presents Credential to President of People’s Republic of Bangladesh

H.E Mrs. Tizita Mulugeta (PhD), non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh resident in New Delhi, presented her Credentials to Honorable MD. Abdul Hamid, President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, on 19 November 2020.

Following the POC, H.E. Ambassador Tizita and Honorable President Abdul Hamid held a brief discussion on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed the current situation in Ethiopia that the Federal government has been undertaking an operation to enforce rule of law in the Tigray region. The Honourable President extended his greetings to the President and Prime Minister of FDRE to be conveyed through H.E. the Ambassador.

On the side-line of the POC, H.E. Ambassador Tizita has met and held talks with the Director General (Africa-Wing) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, and exchanged views on enhancing the existing bilateral and multilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
